5’10” Jeff Mccallum PDX (Cloudtech)

£699.00

Combing the best qualities of a fish with a round tail, you get an easy paddling, fast, loose, and super fun hybrid board that will suit surfers looking to catch loads of waves, carve hard, and trim fast. Its an alternative one board quiver that is a best seller for Jeff and a favourite for anybody that owns one.

This board was a customer board, that unfortunately had the wrong colour fin box and leash plug added. We always make sure you get the board you want, so whilst we remade the board the customer had a chance to surf this one. The feedback was amazing and the customer super stoked both with the board, the service, and the replacement board. The PDX is an epic all rounder, and combines really well with our cloudtech technology, so much so that we now make more pdx’s in cloudtech than PU. This particular one comes in a dark aged green wash that has hints of old chesterfield sofa about it. We think it looks epic, and whilst it has some light dimpling on the deck, is in excellent condition. Combine that with the durability of cloudtech and you have a board with years, if not decades of life still in it. A worthy investment in a stunning board at a fantastic price.

Description

The PDX is the meat and potatoes of what Jeff does, the original design was called a Quagg, a hybrid of Quad+Egg, which went through a few alterations eventually ending in the PDX. The design inspiration came from the fish craze in the early 2000’s when Jeff was riding a few classic Fish’s in the 5’4″-5’6″ range but wanted something longer being 6’3″ tall. As he increased the fish length to accommodate his height the boards started to track. The solution was too combine a fish with a round pin whilst also putting some curve in the rail to loosen the board up. Since then, of the nearly 8000 boards Jeff has hand-shaped the PDX has been by far the most popular. The PDX takes takes the best of a fish and round tail design and combines them to create a great paddling, fast, super loose, and fun surfboard that goes in a huge range of conditions. Its a great alternative one board quiver for those who are looking to step down from a mid-length, or step up from a short-board.
