Description
The PDX is the meat and potatoes of what Jeff does, the original design was called a Quagg, a hybrid of Quad+Egg, which went through a few alterations eventually ending in the PDX. The design inspiration came from the fish craze in the early 2000’s when Jeff was riding a few classic Fish’s in the 5’4″-5’6″ range but wanted something longer being 6’3″ tall. As he increased the fish length to accommodate his height the boards started to track. The solution was too combine a fish with a round pin whilst also putting some curve in the rail to loosen the board up. Since then, of the nearly 8000 boards Jeff has hand-shaped the PDX has been by far the most popular. The PDX takes takes the best of a fish and round tail design and combines them to create a great paddling, fast, super loose, and fun surfboard that goes in a huge range of conditions. Its a great alternative one board quiver for those who are looking to step down from a mid-length, or step up from a short-board.
