7’7″ Love Machine Evening Star Surfboard (used)

The 7’7 Love Machine Evening Star sits right in the mini-glider category, but with a more refined foil than most. Balancing between the Thick Lizzy and the FM. The model is an easy, wide-point (slightly) forward outline, well balanced for speed and carving, fluid and fast… forgiving enough for a weekend cruise, but refined for sensitive, mid-face trim and down the line speed that you won’t expect.

This particular board was one of the teams, and was made using a bomb proof construction which means despite a years surfing the board seems almost brand new. The construction in question is a PU blank, with Innegra + 6oz in the deck, and Innegra + 4oz on the bottom. Its is a little heavier than standard but the extra weight works perfectly with the smooth trim like nature of the board. Likewise, the branding is super subtle with white logos contrasting over the white innegra weave visible through the glass. It’s a stunning board that new would cost near £1050 and we will be sorry to see leave, but it will make somebody very happy.
