The Rockstar range is the result of years of refinement and proven performance at the highest levels of surfing.
Both the Rockstar 2 and Rockstar Max share the same DNA—fast, lively, and highly responsive designs developed to help you surf at your best in everyday conditions. Designed to generate speed effortlessly, maintain flow through flatter sections, and deliver explosive release through turns, the Rockstar family has become one of the most successful and trusted shortboard platforms we have ever created.
These templates are actively used in international competition by our professional surf team and elite junior surfers. Over the years, Rockstar models have helped riders secure more than 10 national titles across England and Wales, cementing their reputation as some of the most proven and versatile all-round shortboards available on the UK market today.
While both boards excel in weaker surf, each offers a distinct personality:
- Rockstar Max is the more playful and skatey option, built for surfers who want maximum speed, pivot, and release in small, soft waves.
- Rockstar 2 is the more refined all-round performer, designed for smoother rail surfing, greater control, and wider versatility.
If you enjoy quick direction changes, tail release, and a lively, energetic feel, the Max is the ideal choice. If you prefer fluid rail-to-rail surfing and a more balanced all-round performance, the Rockstar 2 is the perfect fit.
Both models are designed to be ridden as thrusters and pair perfectly with your favourite all-round fin template. We suggest going for bigger side fins and smaller rear fin if you dont have a go to set up. The Gabriel Medinas from fcs are a great choice.
For the best balance of flex, weight, and performance, we recommend both boards in our Cloud Tech construction or lightweight PU/Poly construction.
