Description
This board originally got its name from “Tout Terrain“ being french for an ‘all-terrain tool’. It’s ideal for surfers who want a high-performance shortboard but need a more forgiving ride in everyday conditions. With a flatter rocker and extra foam underthe chest and nose, the T.T. makes paddling and wave catching easier. Its responsive rails and reduced tail rocker give it fast down-the-line speed, even in mushy, less powerful waves.
In that respect the T.T. has a fuller outline, adding surface area through the nose and hips for increased paddle power and forgiveness on landings, especially in airs. That added width also makes it more forgiving with foot placement, opening up performance surfing to a wider range of abilities. It has a flatter stringer rocker for maximum speed, and sports a subtle tail kick to facilitate exceptional pivot through turns. The bottom has a full single concave which when paired with continuous curve in the rail line delivers a lively and engaged feel on rail, delivering drive and hold in critical sections.
The T.T. makes performance accessible, no need for perfect waves or razor-thin volumes. It’s fast, responsive, and forgiving, in a rare, dare we say it magic, user freindly performance combination.
