The new modern day maurice cole twin pin surfboard is a design from the history of MC riding a surfboard given to him by the great Dane Kealoha in the 80’s. It was a magic board, and with this in mind MC has modernised the design. The Reverse Vee Twin Pin is a very traditional simple design, it has vee in the nose, to concave, to a slight vee in the tail, which gives lots of speed. He has added fluted flyers with hard edges, nose to tail, and moved the fins up to 11”. The fluted flyers gives this board a nice loose feel, shortening the turning radius of the board.
Compared to his other Reverse Vees the Twin Tin runs the vee a longer than normal, carrying it nearly two thrids from the nose. This compresses the single concave right between the feet. The result is a beautiful surfing board with easy roll from rail to rail, but with real speed and manouverability when surfed off the tail. Where as the Veecon 4 likes to be pushed on rail, the Twin Pin is a little more relaxed, but without loosing any of the performance.
