6’8″ Maurice Cole RV Hybrid Surfboard (used)

Maurice Cole’s RV Hybrid surfboard is a functional mix between groveller, mid length and a hybrid daily driver. Blending attributes from a few of Maurice Cole’s models, the Hybrid has width, volume, reverse vee, rail edge the full lenth, and a healthy beaked nose. The model is a user-friendly mid length that can hold its own in bigger surf as well as fly when the waves are weaker. Whilst a bit in teh shadow of Maurice Coles more famous, and dare we say glamerous models, we have a real soft spot of the Hybrid and think its one of the best lower intermediate progresion boards available on teh market. Seriously, we don’t think there is an easier surfing board that can handle such a wide range of waves, and styles of surfing. We also think its a great gateway board into the world of Maurice Cole, with his signature features never more accessible.

This particular board was owned, surfed and loved by one of our staff, who now owns a number of Maurice Coles as a result. It was shaped by Maurice himself whilst working out of france and despite some of the usual wear and tear is in great condition with loads of years left in it. There has been a repair on the side rail, see image, the repair is super solid but there is the slightest colour shift.
