The Fluid Juice winged speed egg surfboard is a classic egg style board that is surprisingly high performance and an excellent board for the progressing surfer, either as a stepping stone to perfect your technique before downsizing, or to keep long term as an awesome ‘do everything’ board.
This partciular board was a trade in from a customer, and comes with the benefit of release wings at the bottom edge of the fin. This inceases paddle power and down the line speed by straightening up the side outline, whilst also introducing release and pivot around the fin for a looser, more manouverable ride. This combined with the twin fin set up and stunning glass job make for a fantastice allround board, that will keep intermediate and above surfers entertained for years.
The board has been surfed, but has only the lightest of deck dimples. It also has some rub marks at the back of the fin boxes (see images) but these are all solid and water tight. It is soo close to being a ‘Like New’ surfboard but due to this little bit of wear and tear we class it as used, and have priced it accordingly.
A goegeous board, glassed to last, in very usable dims, and at a low price. What is not to love…

Technology
Base Construction
Base Construction(a polyurethane blank with polyester resin) is still considered the most versatile and all-round performance specific construction used the world over by touring surf professionals. At Fourth Surfboards only premium materials are used to produce top-quality boards; US Blanks at the core in blue foam and Hexcel Glass for the laminate bonded with Silmar resin for best balance between weight, performance and durability.
The Fourth construction method sees the board finished in 24/7 heat controlled environments to ensure curing times are at optimum levels to reach a finish unrivalled in Europe. The board is then sanded to a 240 dry sand finish ensuring that there is zero plastic lacquer on the board that can often look and feel horrible after a couple of months in the ocean.
