When it comes to the Mad Cow the volume-to-performance ratio is well-balanced, so surfers get the benefit of extra foam when paddling without losing the ability to go vertical, push hard through turns, and stay fast in critical sections. A lower-tail rocker keeps more of the board in contact with water for consistent acceleration and to maintain speed in flatter sections. Likewise, the thinner tail provides grip when setting the line generating a both positive and dynamic feel in turns.
A fully concaved bottom provides lift and speed whilst keeping the board engaged even in weaker surf. As the concave runs through the fins, it transitions into a vee out of the tail. This makes for easy rail to rail surfing and smooth transitions with plenty of release when surfed off the back foot. The funky single channel at the tail gives surfers extra control and maneuverability in radical turns, it also has the added benefit of increasing the size of your spray trail, afterall, who doesnt want bigger sprays!
