Jeff is the master of non fish tailed fishy surf boards, if that makes sense, and along with the PDX, the Arc Egg is probably the best example of this. Where as the PDX is an all rounder, the Arc Egg is definitely geared towards smaller surf, where is broad outline, flatter rocker, and front heavy foil make for a super fast wave catching machine, perfect for when the surf lacks punch. Despite its groveller credentials, it’s pulled down rails and plenty of edge mean that it is also capable and comfortable in much bigger surf. If your a fan of the classic fish experience, but want something a bit looser, faster and playful, that excels in your average surf, then this is the board for you.
