Maurice Cole Veecon III Surfboard
£749.00
The VeeCon III is an all around high performance board (short or long) and a staff favourite here at Colab. It can be made in sizes from 5’8” to 9’6” , works in a range of widths and thickness, and is hugely adaptable depending on what size range of board you are looking for. It uses the now iconic Reverse Vee bottom curve with a more pronounced Vee in the nose, through to a concave at the fins and then a small Vee in the tail. It makes for an easy paddling board, easy take offs and very high performance. We would go so far to say its the easiest surfing performance orientated model that we do.
The VeeCon III comes with fluted flyers that act as wings, and gives curve to the board near the fins, this shortens the rail length and lets the board turn at a shorter radius. It also comes with a beak nose, and the classic Mauric Cole feature of hard edges from nose to tail.
Last but not least, it looks amazing clear, but even better with a spicy colour job, the biggest challenge being which colour, or colour combo would work best for you.

Technology
Base Construction
Base Construction(a polyurethane blank with polyester resin) is still considered the most versatile and all-round performance specific construction used the world over by touring surf professionals. At Fourth Surfboards only premium materials are used to produce top-quality boards; US Blanks at the core in blue foam and Hexcel Glass for the laminate bonded with Silmar resin for best balance between weight, performance and durability.
The Fourth construction method sees the board finished in 24/7 heat controlled environments to ensure curing times are at optimum levels to reach a finish unrivalled in Europe. The board is then sanded to a 240 dry sand finish ensuring that there is zero plastic lacquer on the board that can often look and feel horrible after a couple of months in the ocean.
